Performs public relations and educational awareness actions by meeting and speaking to civic and school based groups. 7. Performs minor repair and inspection work on fire apparatus. Makes necessary adjustments as needed. 8. Completes routine daily fire station janitorial and maintenance tasks. 9. Utilizes self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) to operate in hazardous environments. 10. Performs other related duties as required. 11. Able to carry or drag approximately 100 lbs. up to distances of 50 feet. 12. Be exposed to elevated temperatures that could raise the body's core temperature.
