United Volunteer Fire & Rescue is an all-volunteer department serving the communities of East McKeesport and Wall. There are opportunities for vehicle rescue and EMS calls, for sure, but we also need help behind the scenes with administration, fund raising, and community outreach. All training - if needed - is paid for. Being an active member also gives you a chance to earn a free - yes, free - Associates Degree from CCAC, in any of their programs (not just Fire Science) through the FireVEST program. Please, if you have a desire to give something back to your community, give us a try! | Requirements: -Must be 14 -Members 14-17 are bound by certain Child Labor Law issues which will be explained with the member and their parents -Members 18 and over are able to participate based on training.
