As a Food Service volunteer, you will help prepare and serve meals to our guests during dinner parties. This role involves working in the food line to assemble plates and serving food to guests with a smile. Volunteers should arrive at 4:30 PM.

Support the legal side of reentry by helping members navigate record expungement, employment rights, identification restoration, and other legal barriers to rebuilding their lives. Graduate students seeking hands-on experience in reentry or youth gang prevention and intervention are encouraged to contact us for internship opportunities.

Join our Care Team at our medical clearing facility in La Mesa, CA, where you'll be responsible for feeding, cleaning kennels, administering medications, and socializing dogs. This hands-on role requires the ability to handle various dog personalities and lift up to 30 lbs.

Work closely with the Care Team to manage inventory and prepare foster bags for dogs transitioning to foster homes. This role requires at least two visits per week to TAP HQ in La Mesa and familiarity with tools like Slack and Google Drive.

Volunteers are needed to assist with the sorting, packaging, and delivery of food and toys to families in need during the holiday season. This opportunity is crucial for ensuring that families receive their holiday meals and gifts on time.

Join us for our monthly community cleanups held on the first Saturday of each month from 8:00-9:00am. Volunteers meet at the Grocery Outlet parking lot to help clean up the neighborhood and can also choose to pick up trash in their own neighborhoods at a time that works for them.
