Fannin County Georgia is seeking individuals that want to become volunteer firefighters. The program offered will take the individual to the level of NPQ-1 Firefighter to include State of Georgia certification as a Firefighter 1 and Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations level. You will also have specialized training classes of vehicle extrication and wild land search and rescue as well during the course. We also offer a state certified support firefighter training program as well. Along with the ability to enroll in the Georgia Firefighters Pension Fund. This pension fund is offered even as a volunteer member actively engaged with any volunteer department as suppression or support firefighter. | Requirements: 18 years of age at time of final testing. No felony charges. Ability to follow directions and achieve physical requirements set forth by the state of Georgia. Angels On Horseback Inc
Volunteers assist with tasks such as side-walking, grooming horses, maintaining facilities and equipment, and preparing horses with the proper tack. Volunteers also perform clerical duties and act as committee members. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to help others.
