You must be 18 years of age and live within a 5 mile radius of Fairview to join the Fire Department. The Fairview Fire Department consists of 3 Engine companies, 1 Truck company and 1 Rescue company. Volunteer firefighters are expected to be on call to respond to emergency calls for long periods of time, and are summoned to the fire station when their services are needed.
