Art Hour volunteers have the opportunity to spend time with children, helping them create art and positively impacting their lives. Volunteers do not need to be artists but should be willing to get creative. All volunteers must complete a training program and be at least 18 years old.

Event volunteers assist in making CFC events successful by handling tasks such as event setup, engaging with visitors, taking photographs, and managing ticketing. Volunteers should be passionate and reliable, contributing to the success of various events.

Lead skill-sharing workshops in areas such as tool basics, gardening, and home improvement. Volunteers should have expertise in their chosen topic and a passion for teaching.

Volunteer to repair and maintain tools in the library, ensuring they are in good working condition for community use. Experience with tool repair is beneficial but not required.

Provide translation and interpretation services to ensure all community members can access the resources and workshops offered by Rockwood Common. Volunteers should be fluent in English and at least one other language.

Assist in managing the tool lending library, helping community members borrow and return tools. No previous tool experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and engage with the community is essential.

Focuses on collecting, identifying, and cataloging aquatic plant species in the lakes to understand and monitor plant biodiversity. Volunteers contribute to the understanding of local ecosystems.

Manages the online presence through website updates, social media engagement, and creative content creation to raise awareness and share information about the watershed.

Handles the collection, organization, and analysis of environmental data to support watershed management and restoration efforts. Volunteers play a crucial role in data-driven decision-making.

Works to support efforts to reduce phosphate levels in the lakes and watershed to improve water quality and prevent harmful algal blooms. Volunteers engage in environmental data collection and analysis.

Help create a visually pleasant and functional atmosphere for all downtown users, improving consumer and investor confidence in the community.

Assist with DCA events by helping with setup or breakdown, registration, staffing the DCA table, selling or handing out raffle tickets, and answering questions. Volunteers can take a 2-hour shift or stay longer.

Volunteers monitor blue-green algae in Lacamas, Round, and Fallen Leaf Lakes, partnering with NOAA’s Phytoplankton Monitoring Network. They receive training in sampling protocols, water quality measurements, and cyanobacteria identification, ensuring accurate and consistent data collection.

Assist in planning events, promoting the commercial district's unique characteristics, and engaging with the public to encourage ongoing use of downtown business offerings.

Help increase daily foot traffic in Downtown Camas by providing the right mix of services and investment opportunities.

Assist in raising funds, recruiting volunteers, and ensuring exceptional community experiences when interacting with downtown and the DCA.
