Dartmouth Fire District No.3 is looking for call firefighter who reside within the town or within reasonable response distance to one of our three stations. Dartmouth District No.3 provides services to thirty-one square miles. We cover a large business district, several schools including a university and residential homes. Yearly call volume averages 1000 incidents a year which include a wide variety of fire call, EMS assist, and public assist. | Requirements: Must provide your residential address on application, Must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, posses a valid Massachusetts drivers license, and be able to pass a physical ability test. You will need to be able to work in a team environment, be able to work at various heights, and must live either in Dartmouth District 3 area or close proximity to. Support the sanctuary by organizing fundraising events and building relationships with sponsors and donors. Volunteers with experience in event planning and community outreach are ideal.

Utilize carpentry, masonry, or general handywork skills to maintain buildings and pasture fencing. Volunteers also help with painting tasks around the sanctuary.

Help maintain the sanctuary's gardens, orchard, and wildlife berry garden. Volunteers assist in growing food for the animals and maintaining the sanctuary's aesthetic appeal.

Create crafts and sewn items for the sanctuary's gift shop and online store. Volunteers with crafting skills are encouraged to contribute their talents.

Assist in spreading the sanctuary's mission through social media and IT support. Volunteers help create content and manage accounts to reach new audiences.

Help with administrative duties such as maintaining databases, running errands, and replying to emails. Some tasks can be done remotely.

Help promote the sanctuary's mission through various media channels and coordinate with the social media team. Volunteers assist in organizing events and outreach activities.

Assist with feeding, cleaning, and providing hands-on enrichment for the animals. Volunteers can commit to a four-hour shift once a week for a minimum of one year, with opportunities for morning and afternoon/evening shifts.

Volunteer as a camp counselor to provide guidance and support to campers during the PYDA summer camp. Responsibilities include leading activities, ensuring camper safety, and fostering a positive, Christian environment.

Participate in organizing and executing historical events at Fort Taber. Volunteers will help with event planning, setup, and guest engagement.

Provide administrative support to the Fort Taber Historical Association. Tasks include data entry, answering phones, and assisting with general office duties.

Engage with the community to promote the Fort Taber Historical Association's mission. Volunteers will help with outreach activities and public relations efforts.

Assist in the operation and maintenance of the Fort Taber Military Museum. Responsibilities include helping with historical events, cataloging artifacts, and engaging with visitors.
