Being an Exterior Firefighter means you will be responsible for supporting Interior Firefighters in their fire fighting efforts on the scene. This includes providing ladder stabilization, getting tools and equipment for fire fighting efforts, and other fire ground operations. Although certification is not required for this position, the regional fire training school offers a certificate program for Exterior Firefighters, consisting of attending and completing 85 hours of training over 20 weeks. Become a Member Liaison! The purpose of the YMCA Member Liaison is to engage and create a welcoming environment for current members, re-engage past members, welcome new members, and spread enthusiasm for the YMCA and our mission.

Volunteers assist with grooming the horses, taking them for hand-walks, and cleaning out the stalls. Volunteers also have the opportunity to engage in maintenance or construction tasks around the sanctuary.

Conduct research to identify potential grant opportunities that can provide funding for Lyme Disease education and research initiatives. Volunteers will compile and present findings to the organization.

Assist in organizing and managing awareness and fundraising events to support Lyme Disease education and research. Volunteers will help with event setup, attendee coordination, and information dissemination.

Join the CNTR Community Choir, open to everyone ages 10 and up. Volunteers will participate in choir sessions, helping to create a joyful and inclusive singing environment. No auditions or experience needed.

Facilitate weekly conversations in a judgement-free safe space for individuals struggling with suicidal thoughts, self-harm, and depression. Volunteers will help create a supportive environment for open dialogue.

Volunteers assist in the rescue and transport of animals, ensuring their safety and well-being during the process. Responsibilities may include handling animals, driving, and coordinating with the rescue team.
