This committee conducts outreach to increase awareness and participation in the historical society. Volunteers collaborate with schools and the Senior Center to bring Waterbury's history into the community through special presentations, field trips, and activities.

Volunteering with the History Center involves inventorying artifacts and documents waiting to be digitally catalogued, proofreading catalog entries for style consistency, and culling duplicate objects. Volunteers also assist in researching, planning, and refreshing exhibits regularly.
