The Trevose Fire Co is recruiting new members to join our Stipend Duty Crew Program. The program is to provide four (4) qualified firefighters 24 hours a day for the next four (4) years starting in late November 2017. To participate you must be, 1) A member of the Trevose Fire Company 2) Certification in Fire Fighter 1 IFSAC or ProBoard 3) PA DOH BVR or VRT 4) Hazardous Materials Operations Qualified stipend members will receive $70 for a 12 hour shift. Past Trevose Fire Co members who left in good standing, current and former members of other fire companies are welcomed to join; Trevose Fire Co does allow its members to belong to more than one emergency service origination. Volunteer as a therapy dog handler to visit hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and libraries, providing comfort and companionship to those in need. Volunteers will work with their dogs to promote literacy, calm students during exam weeks, and support bereavement camps.

Join the Philadelphia Telangana Association and the Jewish Relief Agency to pack and distribute meals to deserving families in the Philadelphia area. Volunteers will pack fresh produce and non-perishable kosher food, load cars with boxes, and deliver food to homes in need.

Participate in outreach events by setting up tables, providing information, and selling items to promote rabbit care and the rescue's mission.

Assist with setting up and staffing fundraising events, both in-person and virtual. Volunteers can also contribute ideas for fundraising activities.

Assist with daily cleaning, feeding, and care of rabbits at the adoption center. Training and supplies are provided.

Create blankets for animals at Royce's Rescue. Volunteers can use resources from Comfort for Critters to make blankets that provide comfort to rescued animals.

Provide a temporary home for cats, kittens, or dogs, offering them a safe place to stay while they await adoption. Fosters help animals transition from the shelter to their forever homes.

Sew horse, cat, or dog pillows for Royce's Rescue's Spring Fundraiser Raffle. Volunteers will create items that will be used to raise funds for the rescue.

Assist with feeding and cleaning areas for cats and kittens at the rescue. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to cuddle and play with the cats to help socialize them for adoption.
