Trail Maintainers are advanced, independent nature volunteers who receive training, tools, and resources to care for their adopted trail. They learn plant identification, invasive nonnative plant management, corridor pruning, and trail maintenance skills. Trail Maintainers contribute to the stewardship and maintenance of nature trails and the overall health of diverse natural areas citywide.

Provides outreach support by posting flyers on various notice boards in the community. Flexible hours during the planning stages and throughout the session.
Grassroots Grocery
Every Saturday is a produce party! Music plays and the vibe is rich as our volunteers prepare the weekly harvest. Then our fleet of volunteer drivers bring that beautiful produce the last mile to our Grassroots Grocers, the community leaders who know who needs it most.
Families Helping Families Resource & Recreation
Support the advocacy team by helping with administrative tasks, organizing workshops, and providing resources to families. Volunteers will learn about special education laws and advocacy strategies.

Provides administrative and facilities support such as setting up studios, taking attendance before classes, and organizing and storing equipment after classes. Time commitment is 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM on Saturdays.

Provides student support by participating in the Chair Yoga Dance class, helping disabled individuals by providing a visual picture of the postures and movements. Assists with partner yoga, translating instructions from English to Spanish, and helping with props and equipment setup and storage.
