The department is located in a small northern suburb of Milwaukee and averages between 600 and 800 calls for service per year. Although small in geographic region the department is very progressive in its' operation and training. The department provides Paramedic level EMS, Fire Suppression, Dive Rescue, Fire Prevention and Education services. T.F.D. has a strong commitment toward building diversity in the fire service and is equally committed to strong community relationships, staff professionalism and career evelopment. There are paid (3) fire suppression practices, (1) EMS practice, and (1) Dive Rescue per month and active members must utilize a web-based program to schedule 72 hours of on call hours per month based on their availability.
