Must be in good physical health and can pass a doctor provided physical as well as a background check. For Full Firefighters, you will be required to attend the Fire Academy and become certified as a NJ State Firefighter within your first year of being a firefighter. During the winter months, help grow plants for the plant sale, garden restoration, special display gardens, and educational activities. This role is crucial for preparing the arboretum for the upcoming seasons.

Work with the site manager and other volunteers to improve the arboretum’s bridges, buildings, drainage, and infrastructure. Help maintain the arboretum's vehicles and facilities.
