Garland Fire is looking for individuals to fill paid-on-call firefighter and EMT positions. We are a smaller department looking for help responding to calls 24/7/365. We don't currently staff the station but respond as needed through pagers. We do pay on an hourly basis when you respond to calls. You can be involved with EMS, fire, as well as wildland firefighting. Suzy's Senior Companionship Services
Volunteers help Suzy’s fill in the gap by providing transportation for seniors. Duties include driving clients to and from appointments, grocery stores, and other locations, offering friendly customer service, and assisting with wheelchairs or walkers.

Clarkston Fire and Rescue is looking for hardworking individuals who are willing to serve their community. This is an opportunity to help your neighbors on their worst day. We provide training for: Emergency Vehicle Operation, Wild-land Firefighting, Structural Firefighting, Emergency Medical Technician, and Hazmat. We currently have openings for three volunteers. Be able to work well in sometimes stressful and rapidly evolving situations, must be able to follow orders given by officers. Will be required to serve at least one year after firefighting certifications, two years after EMT certifications. Tashas Furry Friends Sanctuary
