Garland Fire is looking for individuals to fill paid-on-call firefighter and EMT positions. We are a smaller department looking for help responding to calls 24/7/365. We don't currently staff the station but respond as needed through pagers. We do pay on an hourly basis when you respond to calls. You can be involved with EMS, fire, as well as wildland firefighting. We will provide the training needed to become Utah Fire 1 and 2 certified, and NREMT EMT and/or AEMT licensed. | Requirements: Valid Utah driver's license. Pass a background check. Volunteers help Suzy’s fill in the gap by providing transportation for seniors. Duties include driving clients to and from appointments, grocery stores, and other locations, offering friendly customer service, and assisting with wheelchairs or walkers.

Clarkston Fire and Rescue is looking for hardworking individuals who are willing to serve their community. This is an opportunity to help your neighbors on their worst day. We provide training for: Emergency Vehicle Operation, Wild-land Firefighting, Structural Firefighting, Emergency Medical Technician, and Hazmat. We currently have openings for three volunteers. Selection Process: Contact Department, Attend 3 drills, Submit Application, Pass Simple Physical Test, Complete a 6 month Probation Period. | Requirements: Must be willing to work well with others, must be willing to pass physical entrance requirements, must be willing to attend weekly drills, attend certification training in a least one state level certification. Be able to work well in sometimes stressful and rapidly evolving situations, must be able to follow orders given by officers. Will be required to serve at least one year after firefighting certifications, two years after EMT certifications.
