Howard's Creek Volunteer Fire Department is always seeking Motivated members of the community who want to make it a better and and more safe place the live. Becoming a firefighter is a very rewarding commitment. Firefighting is a dangerous vocation, taking you into situations and environments that many people cannot comprehend and would not want to take part in. If you have questions or concerns regarding membership and recruitment with Howard’s Creek Volunteer Fire Department, please contact Fire Chief Dusty Rudisill | Requirements: Potential applicants should stop by the fire station anytime and ask for an application for membership. Tuesday nights at 7PM are set aside for department meetings and training and is often the best time to reach an officer that can assist you. Once your application is filled out in its entirety, the application must be submitted to the Fire Chief for review. Once your application has been reviewed by the Fire Chief, you will be contacted and asked to meet with a panel of HCVFD officers on an upcoming Tuesday night.
