Participate in outreach events to promote rabbit adoption and care. Volunteers will engage with the public and distribute educational materials.

Drive to pick up supplies needed for the sanctuary, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for daily operations.

Create crafts and items to be distributed at outreach events, helping to raise awareness about rabbit care and adoption.

Assist in the construction and maintenance of the rabbit sanctuary facilities. This role is hands-on and involves physical labor.

Volunteers are needed to clear and maintain trails at various QLC properties. Responsibilities include ensuring trails are safe and accessible for all visitors.

Volunteers will post signs at QLC properties to help guide visitors and provide information about the preserves. This role supports visitor navigation and education.

Help staff the QLC booth at community events, engaging with the public to promote the conservancy's mission and activities.

Assist with QLC-sponsored nature outings, helping to organize and guide participants through educational and recreational activities.

Responds on apparatus to fire calls and takes action to do what is needed to help serve the community. On a fire scene you would be able to wear an air pack and go inside the building with full PPE and SCBA. Job duties will include but not limited to, pulling hoses, using power tools and hand tools, fight fire and protect the community. | Requirements: No requirements. Volunteers help keep operational costs low and support the festival’s mission by providing a welcoming atmosphere for musicians and audience members. This role offers a rewarding experience and a chance to connect personally with LGMF musicians.

Join a committee such as Program, Special Events, or Communications to help plan and execute various activities and initiatives at AFS.

Engage in public relations and other forms of promotion and outreach such as working a booth at a trade/craft show, chamber of commerce meeting, or similar gathering.

Distribute AFS Catalogs in your neighborhood or throughout the region to help spread the word about our courses and events.

Help ready our facilities for classes and spring clean up to ensure a welcoming environment for all participants.

Act as a 'Good Will' ambassador to talk to local civic organizations, town boards, radio stations, newspapers, and anyone else about the mission of AFS and the unique experiences we provide.
