Performs other duties as required. | Requirements: Florida Statutes 633 and Florida Administrative Code 69A-37 govern all requirements for becoming a volunteer firefighter. High school diploma or equivalent. (If the applicant is 18 years old, presently enrolled in high school or a GED program, and maintains a 2.5 or higher Grade Point Average (GPA). Must be 18 years of age. Must maintain a valid driver’s license Completing a department-provided physical examination that meets or exceeds the requirements of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1582, Standard on Medical Requirements for Firefighters. Successful completion of the department-provided drug screening test. Maintenance of a continued level of physical fitness as required by the Pace Fire Rescue District for all fire suppression personnel.
