A Child Advocate is an adult who volunteers to spend time with and advocate on behalf of an individual unaccompanied immigrant child while they are subject to deportation proceedings. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old and undergo a thorough clearance and training process.

Assist with various tasks to support the West Michigan Voices of Pride, including event setup, ticketing, and audience management. Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of performances and events.

Help in managing hospitality and refreshments during theatre events. Responsibilities include setting up and serving refreshments to guests and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Assist in expanding the theatre's visibility and fundraising efforts. Responsibilities include helping with marketing strategies and community outreach to support the theatre's productions and events.

Manage and organize props for theatre productions. Responsibilities include sourcing, maintaining, and setting up props for each performance.

Assist in the backstage operations during theatre performances. Responsibilities include managing scene changes, handling technical equipment, and supporting the production team.

Help with the setup and teardown of events at NIA Centre. Volunteers will assist with arranging furniture, setting up equipment, and ensuring the venue is ready for events.

Manage the merchandise table at NIA Centre events, assisting with sales and providing information about products. Volunteers will handle transactions and engage with event attendees.

Engage in committee participation to support the mission of NIA Centre. Volunteers will work collaboratively to plan and execute various initiatives and programs.

Assist with event registration, ensuring smooth check-in processes for attendees at NIA Centre events. Volunteers will help manage guest lists and provide information to participants.

Greet and welcome attendees at NIA Centre events, providing directions and information. Volunteers will ensure guests feel comfortable and informed about the event schedule and facilities.

Support the membership table at events, providing information and assistance to potential and current members of NIA Centre. Volunteers will engage with the community to promote membership benefits.

Assist in setting up and tearing down events organized by Food Hugs. Volunteers should be prepared to help with physical tasks and ensure events run smoothly.

Help is needed at adoption events to setup/tear down, answer questions about adoptees, and provide information about the rescue. Events occur once a month at local pet stores.

Volunteers will play, socialize, and help clean and feed the pets in our care, including dogs, cats, and small animals. Many dates and times are available, and a background check is required to ensure the safety of survivors and animals.

Deliver meals to individuals and families in need as part of Food Hugs' mission to spread kindness. Volunteers must have reliable transportation and be available at specified times.
