Prospective Junior or Regular Probationary applicants must live in Green Brook or within 10 minutes of Firehouse #1 or Firehouse #2. The regular probation period is 1 year. In that time frame you must be able to attend and pass a NJ State certified Firefighter 1 Course. The FF 1 course is usually 2 nights a week and 1 day on the weekend for approximately 3.5 months.
