PAID CALL FIRE FIGHTER The City of Washington Court House, Ohio is accepting applications for the position of Paid Call Fire Fighter. This is a paid per call (volunteer) position with no benefits. Starting hourly range of $12.00 - $14.00 per hour based on certification level. This is a non-union position. Description of Duties: Under general supervision, controls and extinguishes fires to protect life and property; responds to emergencies and may provide emergency medical treatment (BLS) as directed; Operates generators, chainsaws, rescue tools and other related equipment. Other duties as required. | Requirements: Must pass a background check, drug screen, physical exam, interview and an agility test provided by the fire department. Must be able to clearly communicate, verbally as well as written. Must have and maintain valid Ohio Driver's license and must have or be able to obtain a minimum of fire fighter level 1 certification. Paid Call fire fighters will receive training.
