Develop and present educational programs about Golden Retrievers and responsible dog care to the public.

Solicit and write articles for the TGRR newsletter, ensuring it is printed and distributed quarterly.

Conduct home visits for prospective adopters to ensure a suitable environment for the Golden Retrievers before placement.

Participate in adoption fairs during Spring and Fall to meet and greet the public, sharing information about Golden Retrievers and TGRR.

Assist with parking cars at Grasshopper’s baseball games and participate in planning and executing fundraising activities from April to September.

Respond to volunteer inquiries and assist in organizing volunteers for special projects within TGRR.

Promote TGRR’s activities and events through various media channels to increase public awareness and engagement.

Help transport our dogs locally and regionally to ensure they reach their forever homes. This is a vital role in the rescue process and helps save lives.

Fostering saves lives! Open your home to a foster dog, either short-term or long-term. Love Mutts Rescue pays for all necessary vetting and provides heartworm & flea/tick prevention, and fosters are crucial for saving more animals in need.

Join us at our local adoption events to help with dog walking and handling. Volunteers are always needed to assist in making these events successful and help dogs find their forever homes.

Volunteers will engage with teens to provide mentorship and guidance, helping them develop leadership skills and independent thinking. Responsibilities include leading group discussions, facilitating activities, and offering one-on-one support.
