Houghton FC is seeking volunteers to assist with various activities throughout the year. Volunteers will help with organizing events, managing logistics, and supporting the club's operations.

Museum volunteers can contribute in various ways, including assisting with exhibit research and production, helping during events, or managing the desk during public hours. Volunteers are especially needed during the summer months for garden and grounds maintenance and to cover extended hours.

Volunteers will assist in the planning and execution of Keweenaw Pridefest 2025, including managing event locations, tabling, and activities. Volunteers are encouraged to attend bimonthly planning meetings to contribute ideas and help organize the event.

100% Volunteer department founded in the community of Tapiola in 1967. We currently consist of two engines, two tanker trucks, and a Medical First Responder rig. We are one of the first Medial First Responder groups formed in Michigan. Meetings are the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm at the fire hall in Tapiola. | Requirements: Completion of FF1 and FF2 within 2 years of joining as a fireman.
