Harrisburg Fire Dept
The Harrisburg Fire Department serves an area of approximately 86 square miles. This area stretches from the Harrisburg Bridge to Mt. Tom, and 6 miles both North and South of Harrisburg. Highway 99E, Interstate 5, two rail lines, and the Willamette River pass through our District. The Department responds to over 450 calls each year, and handles situations involving fire protection, vehicle accidents, hazardous materials, water rescue and more commonly, medical emergencies for the residents in the area in which it serves. Calls range from trash fires to house fires; from simple scratches to massive traumas. Harrisburg Fire also provides medical services for football games and other community events. But it’s not all business. Harrisburg Fire exists to support its community, and its mission is to do that in as many ways as possible, not just fire and life safety. We participate in various community programs, including the Fourth of July Breakfast, Parade, and Fireworks show. It’s not uncommon to see fire trucks leading parades for out high school sports teams in celebration of district or state championships. You will see our team in action at various school functions, Including Health Fairs, Fire Prevention and giving tours of the Fire station. We have 3 career staff, a Fire Chief, Training Officer, and Firefighter. Jade Rabbit Small Animal Rescue

Coburg Fire District covers 32 square miles from the Mckenzie river to the Lane/Linn county line. We provide emergency response to all hazards within our boundaries and provide mutual aid to neighboring agencies. Some of the more common emergencies that we respond to are, Medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, brush/vegetation fires, structure fires and hazardous material spills. Last year, Coburg Volunteer firefighters responded to over 470 emergencies. Those responses were all possible because of our volunteers. Assist healthcare professionals in providing basic medical care, distributing supplies, and supporting patients during clinic hours. Volunteers help with tasks such as wound care, hygiene item distribution, and patient consultations.
