Volunteers of ages 10 to adult are needed to assist with various tasks such as working at the One Room Schoolhouse, Greentown Museum, during special events, or even while at home. Tasks include creating crafts, working with the curator, office duties, and more.

The Firefighter/EMT position protects life and property through controlling, extinguishing and preventing fires; provides emergency medical services; regularly maintains firefighting equipment, apparatus and quarters; responds to man-made and natural disasters. In emergency situations, performs hazardous tasks requiring strenuous physical exertion for extended periods of time in cramped surroundings, hot, smoky environments with limited visibility, and at considerable heights. In conjunction with the Fire Chief and Officer Core, the Firefighter/Paramedic is responsible for the protection of life and property in fire suppression, emergency medical services, and emergency management operations and tactics. Volunteers will assist in creating memorial gardens by donating plants, digging, planting, spreading dirt and mulch, and providing food and drinks for fellow volunteers. Volunteers may also help by taking pictures of the projects.

Husbandry Volunteers are required to contribute at least 12 volunteer hours per month, divided between 2 or more shifts. They assist with the care and maintenance of the sanctuary's resident birds of prey.

Docent Volunteers are required to contribute at least 8 volunteer hours per month. They play a vital role in educating visitors and assisting with the sanctuary's educational programs.

Volunteers are needed on Distribution Day to help distribute Thanksgiving turkeys and baskets to registered families. Tasks include managing drive-up and walk-up pick-ups and verifying registration details.

Volunteers are needed to assist with registration days at various locations in Canton, Ohio. Responsibilities include helping residents register for Thanksgiving baskets and ensuring all necessary documentation is provided.

Assist in providing support and education to mothers on breastfeeding practices. Volunteers will help facilitate support groups and provide resources to new mothers, ensuring they have the guidance needed for successful breastfeeding.

Volunteers are needed to help clean and feed the cats and assist at events. This role involves ensuring the cats are well-cared for and helping with the setup and management of events.

Engage with the community to promote Pawsitive Ohio's initiatives. Volunteers will help build relationships with local businesses and community members to support our mission.

Support Pawsitive Ohio by researching and writing grant proposals to secure funding for our programs. Volunteers will work closely with the team to identify potential funding sources and draft compelling proposals.

Assist with organizing and facilitating adoption events and community outreach programs. Volunteers may help with setup, engage with attendees, and provide information about Pawsitive Ohio's mission.

Create visual content for She Elevates' marketing materials and online presence. Volunteers will design graphics that align with the organization's branding and mission.
