Enjoy the amazing art while helping to promote the library at Hillsboro's summer artistic showcase, La Strada held on Main Street in downtown Hillsboro. Volunteers help set up the outreach display, run the activity table, guide families through fun crafts, and hand out free books. Great event for creative, chatty people.

U of O's Natural and Cultural History Museum returns with a great environmentally based program. Volunteers are needed to help with hands on activities the museum brings.

Assist storyteller Librarian with setting up and cleaning up the space after the story for babies, birth to 12 months.

Help the STEM librarian with setting up the science activity tables, helping patrons experience the hands on science, and then staying to clean up and put away the supplies.

English/Spanish storytime helpers support the storyteller by welcoming patrons and helping with any crafts.

Volunteers will help set up the mobile book cart, unload the crates of activities, giveaways, and games. You'll be busy helping people select a summer reading book or participating in activities.

Participate in seminars, recruit committee members, and work with landowners to preserve farm and forest lands.

Assist in selling merchandise at events, contribute ideas for new items, and maintain inventory and sales information.

Volunteers are needed every Thursday to assist with the operations of the food bank, including distributing food and cleaning up after the food bank closes. Volunteers can contribute just an hour or two to make a significant impact.

Support events by designing images or layouts using graphic design software and writing articles for newsletters or copy for brochures.
