Volunteer Firefighter for the City Of Thief River Falls, MN. | Requirements: 1. Applicant must be a minimum of 21 years of age and possess a valid MN driver's license. 2. Applicants will be screened and have background checks done on them. 3. Candidates must live within the TRF Fire coverage area. 4. The applicant must be able to leave work for fire calls, so they must have their employer’s consent. 5. The individual selected will be required to attend a Firefighter I & II training course consisting of approximately 100 hrs. online and 40 hrs. hands on training. The individual must pass Minnesota testing standards for Firefighter I&II and Haz-Mat Operations Level certification. 6. Applicants must pass a 30-question written test scoring 70% or better. 7.
