This is an art program for our residents with memory loss. As a volunteer, you will build a relationship with an individual resident by assisting them in an art project. (Additional one-hour training is required.)

A fun program designed to help residents with memory loss or dementia. Listen to their favorite music and watch them come ALIVE through the power of music. (Additional one-hour training is required.)

Visit with our residents, read to them, play cards or games, listen to music, or chat. This helps to provide both social and emotional support for our residents.

Volunteers gather once a month at the Elks Lodge to assemble personal support packs for homeless and at-risk teens. No experience is necessary, and it's a great way to meet new people and get hands-on experience with the program.

Join our team of dedicated volunteers to support various community initiatives, including educational programs for children and support services for the elderly. Volunteers will engage in activities that foster community unity and empowerment.

Volunteers help set up and manage a booth at local community events to spread awareness about the program. They provide information and samples of support packs to the public.

•Responds to emergency calls to provide fire suppression, rescue, hazardous materials and emergency medical assistance to the public. •Responds to emergency incidents, which involves getting to the scene quickly and safely, with the proper protective equipment. •Rescues individuals from fires and other emergency situations. •Contains and extinguishes fires, places hose lines and ladders, directs and operates nozzles and ventilates structures. This may involve working inside, outside and on top of burning and/or smoke filled structures. •Performs salvage and overhaul operations which may include placing salvage covers, removing excess water, opening walls and ceilings, removal of debris and covering openings in a structure. •Renders emergency medical treatment commensurate to their level of training and certification to injured or ill victims. •Operates fire department apparatus and equipment in accordance with fire department protocol and with due care for the safety of personnel, citizenry and property. •Assists at hazardous materials and technical rescue incidents to a level commensurate to their training. •Prepares, inspects and cleans equipment to ensure its proper functioning. •Maintains and improves rescue and firefighting knowledge and skills. Volunteer Dog Trainers are responsible for raising and training dogs from puppyhood. This involves attending weekly classes and practicing training techniques at home to ensure the dogs develop the necessary skills for their future roles.

As a Host Home Volunteer, you will provide a loving home for dogs while our staff manages their daytime training. This role is crucial in helping the dogs acclimate to a home environment and prepare them for their future assistance roles.

As a Dog Walker, you will help provide enrichment and exercise for the dogs at the training facility. This role allows you to spend time with the dogs, ensuring they receive the physical activity they need between training sessions.
