The Salem Center Volunteer Fire Department is looking for individuals wanting to make a difference in their community. We are looking for volunteers to be firefighters and / or medical responders. We also looking for people that can help with office support and fundraisers. Training will be required for any firefighter / medical responder. This training will be provided by the department and could be located at other training sites. | Requirements: Attend one meeting a month. One day each for fire and medical trainings (2 hours) One quarterly fire training (usually a Saturday morning) Be able to respond to calls at any hour of the day when you are available. Have a strong desire to assist people in your community.
