The Syosset Fire Department (SFD) was organized in 1915 by local residents to help protect their community from the potential ravages of fire. A century later, we are still proud volunteers who provide a professional level of Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to our neighbors in the Syosset Fire District.
