Volunteers are needed to deliver meals to seniors in the area, providing them with essential nutrition and companionship. You can sign up for one or two days a week, one or two days a month, or as a substitute driver.

Front desk volunteers assist visitors at JRMC by providing a warm welcome and escorting patients to their appointments. This role is essential in creating a friendly and supportive environment for patients and their families.

Gift Shoppe volunteers assist customers in finding items and help with purchases. They also support the Gift Shoppe coordinator in organizing merchandise and maintaining the quality of items available for sale.

Hospice volunteers provide both direct and indirect services to patients and families in their homes, hospitals, or nursing homes. They assist with day-to-day functioning and offer companionship and support to those in need.

Volunteers in the Driven to Care program provide curb-to-curb transportation for JRMC patients needing rides to and from appointments. Volunteers will undergo standard onboarding and an online driver’s safety course, and they can accept or deny rides based on their availability.

As an Animal Care Volunteer, you will assist with the daily care of the animals in the shelter, including feeding, cleaning, and socializing with the pets. Volunteers are essential in helping maintain a clean and safe environment for the animals and may also help with adoption events and community outreach.
