We are recruiting for volunteers to join Enterprise Fire Department. We are looking for members of the community that have a desire to help their friends and neighbors during emergencies or natural disasters. Volunteers will respond as part of a team to fire and rescue incidents. Duties include fire suppression, operation of fire trucks and pumps, rescue of individuals involved in motor vehicle accidents, assisting local ambulance crews, and general community outreach and education. If you are looking for how you can help your community, we have a place for you at Enterprise Fire Department. | Requirements: We are looking for volunteers from throughout the community and welcome all to come and see how they can fit in on our team. No prior experience is required. Enterprise Fire Department will provide all training and equipment. Volunteers respond to 911 dispatched calls when they are in the community and available. Training and meetings are held once a week, and volunteers are expected to attend when they can. There are no requirements for covering calls, and availability for training is flexible around an individual's work, family, and personal commitments. Wallowa Mountains Hells Canyon Trails Association
