Lead Rescuers are responsible for completing all steps necessary for a food rescue event. Lead Rescuers go through a brief training process and can then sign up to lead food rescue events on a recurring or sporadic basis. All Lead Rescuers can elect to lead food rescue events on a volunteer basis as Volunteer Lead Rescuers.

Assist in conducting arts workshops for young people coping with challenging circumstances such as homelessness and the juvenile justice system. Help facilitate creative activities and provide support to participants.

As a mentor, you will be working with students age 10-14 years old at our Kid Reporter Program workshops in New York City to guide them through brainstorming, research, writing, and editing their articles for the IndyKids newspaper.
