We are a 100% volunteer department located 46 miles directly west of the city of Chicago. We do ask volunteers to be within a certain distance of the Fire district to help in responding too calls. We are a close community and strive to help in many opportunities. We do meet weekly for training and once your past your probation period you are able to gain knowledge and respond to calls. We also cover standbys one weekend per month.
