Chick N Cooper Animal Oasis
Volunteers are needed to assist with the care of animals at the sanctuary. Responsibilities include feeding, cleaning, and providing companionship to the animals. Volunteers should share their strengths and any experience with the animal community.

Toutle Fire Rescue is an all-volunteer fire department. We respond to approx. 500 medical/fire calls per year. Being a Volunteer is a 24/7 job – members have pagers and are “toned” out when someone has dialed 911. We respond to various emergency situations, and we train to be ready. Shift Volunteer program is designed for those individuals that live outside of our response area but still want to be part of the department. They staff for 10-hour day shifts during the week when traditional volunteers are at work. They are required to work 80 hours a month and attend at least 2 drill nights. Silverlake Rd. in Castle Rock Volunteer members receive both fire and medical training, along with a stipend for call as well as the opportunity to work 10 hour shifts with our shift volunteers. Members are required to attend 50% of the drills and 20% of the calls | Requirements: Be 18 years old. Posess a high school diploma, GED, or higher degree. Columbia County Museum Association
