As an Administrative Support Volunteer, you will provide office support for the Unity Hospice team. Tasks may include organizing mailings, computer work, and creating care packets to assist in the daily operations of the hospice.

As a Patient Care Volunteer, you will visit patients in nursing homes or private homes, providing companionship and a listening ear. This role is crucial for offering emotional support to those in hospice care.

In the Music Memory program, you will work with Alzheimer’s patients to communicate through music. This role helps patients find renewed meaning in their lives through personalized musical experiences.

Assist with various events organized by Women & Children's Horizons, including setup, coordination, and support during the events. Help ensure the success of events like the Mardi Gras Gala and Family Fun Fest.

Assist in organizing and supervising activities for a free, 6-week summer camp for elementary school children. Volunteers will help create a fun and safe environment for over 100 children.

Provide temporary foster homes for kitties, including adult cats, shy cats, pregnant cats, kittens, or sick/injured cats. Foster parents are crucial in providing care and socialization.

Kindred Kitties needs volunteers with plumbing, electrical, general maintenance, and/or any other specialty work skills. Volunteers help with special projects around the adoption center.

Assist with the cleaning of the adoption center and animal care. Volunteers are needed 7 days a week for morning shifts to ensure a clean and healthy environment for the cats.
