The Kingfield Fire Department seeks paid volunteers to support the department's mission to protect Life, Property, and the Environment. Roles within the department range from scene support to direct emergency mitigation. Opportunities include, but are not limited to, certified firefighter, EMT, apparatus driver, and apparatus and equipment operator. Kingfield Fire Department is an all-hazards response organization, responding to emergencies such as forest fires, car accidents, back country rescues, medical emergencies, haz-mat incidents, and structure fires. Our "first due" response area includes Kingfield and parts of Freeman Township, and Salem Township as well as mutual aid provided to all surrounding municipalities. Organize and plan fundraising events to support the Embden Historical Society's projects and initiatives. Volunteers will help with event planning and execution.

Assist in maintaining the local cemetery by helping with landscaping and general upkeep. Volunteers will ensure that the cemetery remains a respectful and well-kept place for visitors.
