The LVFC is excited to invite you to be part of the continued evolution of the Leechburg Volunteer Fire Company. We are a 100% volunteer organization that has been serving Leechburg for 131 years. The LVFC has been staffed over the years by dedicated men and women who are integral part of the community. The LVFC welcomes you to be part of the transition age as the community re-gentrification takes hold with millennials taking the place of baby boomers and baby boomers moving into the roles held by the greatest generation. The community of Leechburg is evolving with an increasing number of younger residents with growing families moving into town and we want you to be part of the community. The members of the LVFC recognize and welcome the changing demographic and new faces to our community. We as an organization are making commitments to the community to embrace continuing change to provide the town with trained and well equipped emergency responders. The role of the volunteer fire fighter in the community is multi faceted as such we need members with multiple different skill sets to assist with administrative and business management of the non profit corporation which governs the LVFC and is also responsible for providing the financial resources for the needs of the fire fighting side of the organization.
