We have a community college fire science program, or in house firefighter academy course for firefighter 1 and 2, wildland FFT 1 & 2, and support for the Oregon EMT course which is ran through the college. We do have an intern / sleeper program for up to 3 interns. Keno Fire is a small community West of Klamath Falls, OR with a few small businesses and an elementary school. We typically run 85-90% EMS calls, and operated 2 ambulances. We have 4 stations (one of which is staffed) covering the district. The Chief and Captain are full time paid positions, and several volunteers positions. We have good equipment, with our newest type 1 engine being a 2019, and have a new type 3 engine due to deliver in the next month or two. Keno sits in a rural forested area | Requirements: Training and equipment will be provided.
