We have 3 Fire Stations placed within Emergency Services District #3 boundaries in the Southern part of Hays County. On Oct 1st, 2013, the South Hays Fire Department, INC and Hays County Emergency Services District #3 merged. Hays County E.S.D. #3, will retain the name South Hays Fire Department and its subsidiaries, Texas Fire Academy and San Marcos Area Recovery Team.
