Policy Overview   The purpose of this policy is to identify who is eligible for membership in the Lake Hiawatha Fire Department and to describe the application and investigation process. In order to maintain high level of competency and proud traditions, the department must ensure that its new members meet or exceed our standards. Furthermore, it must be recognized that its not everyone, in fact most people, cannot endure the physical and mental challenges of firefighting. Assist in the care and socialization of animals in foster homes, ensuring they are well-fed, exercised, and loved. Volunteers will also help with transporting animals to veterinary appointments and adoption events.

Support various activities and events as needed, contributing to the overall mission of Rose House. Tasks may vary based on current needs and volunteer skills.

Assist in organizing and managing golf outings to support Rose House's mission. Volunteers may help with event setup, registration, and coordination during the event.

Assist with tasks that help our office run smoothly, including mailings, phone calls, and data entry. Volunteers provide essential support to our administrative functions.

Assist at fundraising events, conferences, and educational sessions. Join a committee to help us raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's New Jersey.

Facilitate or co-facilitate an Alzheimer's New Jersey support group, providing guidance and support to individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's disease.

Raise awareness about Alzheimer's disease and our programs and services at Health and Wellness fairs and community events. Volunteers will engage with the public to provide information and resources.

Join our advocates as they organize letter-writing campaigns, speak to legislators, and phone interested individuals to promote policies supporting Alzheimer's research and care.
