Firefighter I (FF-1) - This course is a minimum of 191 hours. The course will meet the Job Performance Requirements (JPR) of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1001 Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications, (2019 edition). The Hazardous Materials component of the course must meet or exceed NFPA 1072: Standard for Hazardous Materials/Weapons of Mass Destruction Emergency Response Personnel Professional Qualifications (2017 Edition).
