Volunteers should be ready to engage in hands-on tasks and contribute to the center's educational mission.

Faye’s Place provides socialization for isolated seniors and respite for caregivers. Volunteers assist with serving beverages and lunch, leading activities, and providing companionship to seniors, many of whom have varying degrees of dementia.

Volunteers deliver flowers and meals to isolated seniors during Rosh Hashanah, Hanukkah, and Passover. Volunteers are assigned to deliver to 2-3 homes or facilities, providing meals and an opportunity for seniors to honor the holiday.

This volunteer experience is for high school students who have completed at least one year of high school and have completed their local area's work crew training course. Each work crew session lasts about one month during the summer.
