Trained volunteers work in teams to perform property assessments for lakefront homeowners, offering suggestions for creating lake-friendly properties. Training is conducted by Maine Lakes and 30 Mile. Volunteers support individual lake teams in the watershed.

Minot Vol Fire Dept
Minot Fire-Rescue is a volunter/paid on call department serving the community of Minot. Currently we are in need of volunteers who have experience in patient care, firefighting or are willing to learn. This is a rewarding opportunity to give back to your community and help others in their time of need. Members of the Minot Fire Department respond to fires, car accidents, medical emergencies and many other events called into the Androscoggin Regional 911 center. Members do receive an hourly wage based on experience and certification levels while assisting at an emergency scene, attending our monthly trainings/meetings or while at other department sanctioned events. Members of the Minot Fire-Rescue Dept also participate in various community events and provide fire safety education to the students of the Minot Consolidated School every October.
