Explorer meetings are generally on Wednesday nights from 7 pm to 9 pm. We have activities on other days depending upon the needs of the Fire Department or outside training. As an instructor for English Language Learners, you will provide small group instruction for beginner level English language learners. Classes meet for 6 hours, 2 times a week from September to June.

In this role, you will help adults who never learned to read or write in a supportive group environment. Small group instruction meets for 2 hours per week on an ongoing basis at local libraries.
