The Linwood Volunteer Fire Department is an all volunteer department. We cover 51 square miles and respond an average of 25 times per year. Our calls vary from structure fires, vehicle rescue, water rescue to grass/field fires. We also respond to medical calls as a Basic Life Service (Non-transport). Our goal is to have the patience ready for transport when the ambulance arrives on scene. We meet two times per month for a business meeting and training meeting. | Requirements: New members are put on one year probation period. Minimum 18 years of age at time of appointment.
