Teens and adults can sign up to help at the library on a limited or regular basis by filling out a Volunteer Application. Volunteers may be called upon for various tasks as needed by the library.

Develop and present an arts or crafts program at the library. Volunteers are encouraged to outline a proposal detailing the art or craft program they could offer to the community.

Join Emily at the library on Tuesday afternoons through August 12th, from 1 PM - 3 PM, for a variety of activities to give back to the library and our community. Each week features a different project, and teens are encouraged to bring their own ideas for collaboration.

Assist the Town Historian in planning the annual tree lighting, caroling, and refreshments at the Udicious Pavilion in December. Volunteers will help organize and execute the event.

Assist in planning programs for the society's membership and the public, including in-person events with outside speakers or virtual programs. Volunteers will support the Program Chair in organizing these events.

Participate in a mobile crew that travels to various sections of the trail to perform maintenance and improvement tasks. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to travel to different trail locations.

As a Trail Section Maintainer, you will be responsible for a section of the Finger Lakes Trail, generally 1 or 2 miles in length. You will perform routine inspection and maintenance, clear vegetation and fallen branches, pick up litter, and refresh blazes and signs as needed.

Join other volunteers to work on trail projects that are beyond routine maintenance. Projects might include repairing trail erosion, clearing downed trees, and repairing bridges and structures. Projects are usually one day or less.
