All training and equipment are provided free of charge and there are many benefits and opportunities available to those willing to stand up and be counted among those in Long Branch's oldest community service organization. Fire Company meetings are held once a month. The Division of Training conducts instruction and drills twice a month. All Firefighters must successfully complete firefighter recruit training (provided free of charge) at an approved Fire Academy (to be assigned by the department). | Requirements: Firefighters must have a good heart--both physically and emotionally. You must be totally and completely loyal and trustworthy to not only our neighbors who rely on us but also to your fellow firefighters who will be depending on you to back them up and keep each other safe.
