Volunteers are needed to respond to calls from pounds, identify Shelties, transport dogs to foster homes or vets, groom and bathe rescued Shelties, and foster Shelties for extended periods. Volunteers may also interview potential adopters, perform home checks, and post information about Sheltie Rescue at local vets or online.

Assist in distributing food to those in need every Tuesday from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Volunteers help with organizing, packing, and handing out food items to community members facing food insecurity.

Capture photos and videos of the sanctuary, its events, and the animals to help promote the sanctuary's mission and activities on social media and other platforms.

Assist with carpentry projects, general labor, pasture clean-up, painting, and fence expansion/maintenance. Volunteers help maintain and improve the sanctuary's facilities for the well-being of the animals.

Participate in organizing and managing events to support the sanctuary's fundraising efforts. Volunteers will assist with event setup, coordination, and promotion.

Volunteers are needed for various roles including painting, carpentry, house management, ushering, sewing, photography, and marketing. Volunteers can utilize their skills to support the theatre's operations and productions.

Assist in the installation of large kennels for dogs currently living on chains. Volunteers will help build and install structures to improve the living conditions of these dogs.

Volunteer coaches are needed to support and guide individuals with special needs in learning basketball skills and participating in team activities. Coaches will help foster a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.

Volunteers are needed to help pack food bags that will be distributed to children who are food insecure. This involves organizing and packing kid-friendly food items for six weekend meals and snacks.

Provide daily care for feral and stray cats, including feeding, cleaning, and socializing with adoptable cats. Volunteers will also help maintain the shelter facilities and assist in medical care as needed.

Assist in the Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, & Return (TNVR) program by helping to trap feral cats, transport them for spaying/neutering and vaccination, and return them to their habitats. Volunteers will also educate the community about the benefits of TNVR.
