Responsible for handling a designated horse before, during, and after therapy sessions. Tasks include grooming, tacking, leading, and ensuring safety during sessions. Must pass a horse handling class.

Assist with cleaning tasks such as cleaning stalls, paddocks, waterers, and sweeping aisles. Volunteers also help with making feed and horse turn-in/turn-out under staff supervision.

Coordinate trapping efforts for feral cats as part of the Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. This role involves planning and organizing trapping activities and requires strong leadership skills.

Assist in feeding and managing feral cat colonies, including bi-annual clean-ups. This role requires a commitment to animal welfare and environmental stewardship.

Maintain and update the organization's website to ensure accurate and current information is available to the public. This role requires technical skills in website management.

Assist office staff with special tasks including news clippings, mailings, data entry, and other projects as needed. This role supports the administrative functions of the Longmont Downtown Development Authority.

Assist in putting events into action by working with artists, local businesses, and staff to implement event details. Opportunities include the Winter Walkabout Music Showcase, Summer Concerts, Unity in the Community, ArtWalk on Main, Wine Walk, and Holiday Plaza Lighting Ceremony.

Distribute promotional and marketing items to Downtown businesses, including invitations, notices, and Winter Passport program materials. This role involves walking and engaging with local businesses to ensure they are informed about upcoming events and programs.

Assist in the cataloging and archiving of historical artifacts to preserve the rich history of Niwot. Volunteers will work with historical items and ensure they are properly documented and stored.

Participate in parades and special events such as the 4th of July and Enchanted Evening, representing the Niwot Historical Society. Volunteers will help organize and manage event activities.

Plan and organize social events for members and families of the Niwot Historical Society. Volunteers will coordinate activities that foster community engagement and enjoyment.

Host open houses and assist with historic displays at the Firehouse Museum. Volunteers will engage with visitors and provide information about the exhibits.

Lead walking tours of Old Town Niwot for school groups, public groups, and festivals. Volunteers will educate participants about the historical significance of the area.
