Volunteer Firefighter/ MFR. Under the supervision of the Fire Chief, the Volunteer Firefighter performs advanced firefighting work in preventing, combating, and extinguishing fires, responding to hazardous materials incidents and emergency calls which include special rescue situations such as vehicle and steep angle rescue. We also respond to all medical calls in our area Respond to 911 calls for emergency medical assistance, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or bandaging a wound. Assess a patient's condition and determine a course of treatment. We are always looking for recruits for the fire service. To be a firefighter you need to be 18 years of age, clean criminal history and driving record and willing to commitment time to serve our community. We are a part paid organization. For the cadet service you need to be 14- 18 with a desire to learn new skills and be a part of our department. | Requirements: For Fire Fighters: you must be at least 18 yrs of age, pass physical exams, drug free and willing to get certified within two years of signing on the department. Cadets: 14 - 18 yrs of age, permission from your parents or guardians, physical fit and able to pass a physical exam, and willing to learn new tasks.
